Rotary TreesThe Sanders Reserve group, when providing a third and final Milestone report to the Ministry of Primary Industries (MPI), noted the following.
Planting at Sanders Reserve was completed in September 2022 with 7,980 trees planted.
Overcoming the mowing down of the trees was a huge success story.
Both Conservation Volunteers NZ and Sustainable Paremoremo are committed to building back community support and involvement for the restoration work within the park and are working very collaboratively with the Local Board and Auckland Council.
A plaque has been placed at the park.
